Look out, Dumbo, there’s a new elephant — or rather, smellephant — in town!
A brand-new interactive experience opens today in the Storybook Circus section of Magic Kingdom, and it’s sure to indulge your senses.

In case you missed it, Smellephants on Parade is a “search and sniff” scavenger hunt sponsored by Scentsy, the official home fragrance brand of Walt Disney World.

The attraction invites guests to assume the highly coveted role of “whiff-sistant” to Timothy Q. Mouse, who heads up the olfactory adventure.

As a newly minted recruit, you’ll embark on a search to find the eight Smellephant statues hiding around Storybook Circus.
Caramel Apple Smellephant
Over the past few weeks, we’ve watched as a series of colorful smellephant statues were installed around Storybook Circus, adding an extra dose of magic and whimsy to the area.
Cotton Candy Smellephant
The eye-catching smellephants pay homage to treats like corn dogs, snow cones, and lemonade!
Lemonade Smellephant
Today, a brand-new bubblegum smellphant has arrived to kick off the attraction’s opening day.

Smellephants on Parade Opens Today!
From the delicious smells of the Main Street Confectionary to the nostalgic scent of Pirates of the Caribbean, Magic Kingdom has always been a treat for the senses!

Today, Smellephants on Parade joins the ranks of Disney World’s sweet-smelling attractions.
To join the fun, simply head to the Ticket Booth outside Big Top Souvenirs, where you’ll receive your assignment from Timothy Q. Mouse.

The attraction is open between 10AM and 6PM, so plan your park day accordingly!

Once you have your Smellephants on Parade booklet, you’ll begin your aromatic adventure around Storybook Circus.

You’ll find eight delicious scents in all: Popcorn, Caramel Apple, Snow Cone, Pink Lemonade, Bubblegum, Churro, Corn Dog, and Cotton Candy.
Snow Cone Smellephant
To experience each scent, position yourself near each smellephant and wait for the diffuser to distribute the smell.
Here are our thoughts about each scent:
- Popcorn: kettle corn or sweet popcorn scent
- Caramel Apple: apple scent with a hint of caramel
- Snow Cone: sweet syrup scent, almost like blue raspberry
- Pink Lemonade: citrus and sugar scent
- Bubblegum: gumball scent
- Churro: fried churro scent
- Corn Dog: funnel cake or fried smell
- Cotton Candy: sweet cotton candy scent
Popcorn Smellephant
Then, use your stickers to match the smellephants to their respective scents. Technically, there’s no prize for completing the adventure, but the experience is DEFINITELY a reward for your nose!
