‘Deadpool’ Co-Creator Rob Liefeld Says ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Will Have the Best Action Sequences Since ‘The Winter Soldier’
Following the release of the film’s second trailer, anticipation for Deadpool & Wolverine is through the roof.
As the only Marvel film set to hit theaters this year, the studio is counting on the Merc with the Mouth to help restore the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) fortunes at the box office.
“The Best Action Since Winter Soldier”
Just when it seemed like the hype around the upcoming film could not get any higher, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld took to X and declared that the film would have “the BEST action since Winter Soldier.”

The second trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine features numerous scenes of Wade Wilson and Logan fighting together as a team.
Liefeld Says Fans Have Only Gotten a “Glimpse” of What’s to Come
In a recent episode of his Robservations with Rob Leifeld podcast, the comic book guru noted that fans have only received a “glimpse” of what is to come.

“Look, if you think that there’s stuff out there being spoiled, there’s so much stuff that is yet to come that is going to blow your mind,” Liefeld teased. “But let’s go with what you did see, and you saw a whole lot of Wolverine and Deadpool basing off great action.”
“All the Deadpool movies have great action, but the expectation for this is obviously higher,” he added. “There are so many killer action sequences in this movie. And you are getting a taste, a hint of what’s to come. I really believe this movie has the best action in any comic book superhero movie.”

Whether or not Deadpool & Wolverine can live up to its lofty expectations, one thing is clear. There is more buzz around the upcoming film than any MCU film since Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26.
