You Can Get Paid $1,000 To Watch Every Star Wars Skywalker Movie
In a deal that sounds like a dream come true, a financial advice website is offering $1,000 to watch all nine films in the Star Wars Skywalker saga. However, there is a catch — the participant must have never seen a Star Wars film before.
In celebration of Star Wars Day (May the 4th), financial advice website FinanceBuzz has announced that it is looking for someone to watch the Skywalker saga films in the order they were released.

“Starting in chronological order (by release date), you’ll make your way from Episode IV: A New Hope all the way to Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. And if you’re wondering why we didn’t start with Episode I, you’re probably the right person for our job,” FinanceBuzz said.
$1000 For 25 Hours of “Work”
In total, the nine films have a runtime of 25 hours and 7 minutes. In addition to the $1000, FinanceBuzz is throwing in $100 to “cover the costs of streaming, snacks, or a lightsaber.”

After watching the films, the lucky participant will answer FinanceBuzz’s questions, giving their impressions and rating each movie. The final data will be used in an upcoming story on FinanceBuzz.

“It’s almost the 25th anniversary of Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and the saga’s being re-released in major cities this May. We want to experience every moment through fresh Padawan eyes, from the initial hero’s journey on Tatooine to Rey’s journey of self-discovery,” the website’s posting reads.
How to Apply
Applications for the Star Wars role are due by May 4, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The chosen candidate will be selected within two weeks. Once chosen, the lucky winner will have one week to complete the assignment.
