Come With Us to Breakfast at the Reopened 1900 Park Fare in Disney World!
In case you missed it, a popular Disney World restaurant FINALLY reopens today!
1900 Park Fare, located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, has been closed since 2020 — but as of today, it’s finally serving breakfast and dinner once again. We visited bright and early this morning for breakfast and we have a lot to share with you!
Atmosphere
As we mentioned, 1900 Park Fare can be found at the Grand Floridian Resort, serving breakfast from 8AM to 12PM and dinner from 4PM to 9PM, and it also doubles as a character dining experience!
Since we were at the restaurant right when it reopened, we got to see Princess Tiana cut the grand opening ribbon!

A leader here actually even told us that some of the original Cast Members from when it was previously open are BACK at the restaurant now!
When you walk in, you’ll get to see the wallpaper with the old carousel characters that used to sit in the dining room…
…along with Big Bertha — that awesome giant organ high up in the wall!
The decor is inspired by the early 20th century, complete with Impressionist-inspired Disney artwork, carousel theming, and rich colors.
Here’s another look!
Can we take a moment for this gorgeous carpet?!
Here’s another look at the dining area!
The details in here are awesome — you definitely need to pause for a few moments to take it all in.
The buffet area is equally as pretty, and there are a ton of food options!
Okay, now for one of the best parts of this experience — the characters!
Characters
1900 Park Fare features several characters from your favorite Disney movies, including classic and newer films! The character lineup can change depending on when you visit, but in general, most guests will be able to greet Aladdin…
…Cinderella…
…Mirabel from Encanto…
…and Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
You will be given an autograph print out with all of the characters’ signatures on it, so they will not be signing individual autographs.
And, since the characters here are wish makers, you can write down your wish and they will come around and ask you about it!
Let’s move on to the food!
Menu
Breakfast costs $54 per adult and $34 per child, and it includes a variety of buffet options.
Disney’s menu depicts a partial listing of breakfast buffet options, which includes their signature Strawberry Soup along with other tasty dishes like Bread Pudding, Guava and Cream Cheese Danish, Cinnamon Pull-apart Bread, and Crossaint Breakfast Pizza.
Five specialty cocktails are available at an extra cost, as are two zero-proof cocktails.
There are also specialty non-alcoholic drinks and hot beverages available at an extra cost.
Now let’s take a look at the buffet!
Breakfast Buffet
The menu already showed you what some of the items on the buffet are, but we’re sure you actually want to SEE them, right?! So, we’ve got croissants and a variety of jams and jellies…
…as well as several other bread options and cream cheese.
There are even sweeter options too, like these doughnut holes, banana bread, guava and cream cheese danishes, and double chocolate muffins.
Of course, there are Mickey Waffles…
…and pancakes!
Plus, delicious things like bread pudding and cinnamon pull-apart bread.
And, don’t forget the biscuits and gravy! There’s some oatmeal and fixings here, too.
There are also things like the spiced tofu scramble and chicken sausage…
…classic Eggs Benedict…
…and cheesy potato casserole.
One of my favorite things to see on a breakfast buffet is here — smoked salmon and all the important accompaniments!
For something a bit lighter, check out the yogurt, granola, and fruit station.
We’ve got some potato barrels, and a very exciting croissant breakfast pizza!
There are also some cereal options…
…and there are even gummy bears on this buffet, which is just amazing!
Finally, we’ve got the iconic Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup!! You can load it up with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Okay, let’s dig in!
Review
We started off with the Cold Brew Martini, which has SelvaRey Chocolate Rum, Tia Maria liqueur, Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew for an additional $16.
This was very potent! You could definitely taste the cold brew but the alcohol flavor is strong in this drink. We thought it was delicious, but you definitely have to like strong drinks to enjoy this one!
We also got the Chipotle Bloody Mary, which has house-made chipotle-infused vodka garnished with jumbo shrimp, chorizo, and an olive with a lime-salted rim for an additional $16.
This drink was very acidic, even for a Bloody Mary. There’s a slight kick from the chipotle, but the tomato juice is the dominant flavor here. You can taste the vodka, but it’s not as strong as the Cold Brew Martini was — you gotta love tomato juice to enjoy this drink!
We also grabbed some Wishing Juice, which is just Passion Fruit Orange Guava juice, and it’s included in the price of the buffet!
Now for the food! The iconic strawberry soup was delicious! Cast Members told us that they actually changed the recipe slightly. We noticed that it was thicker and more of a yogurt-like consistency. It reminded us of strawberry yogurt but sweeter.
We thought the croissant breakfast pizza was fantastic it has well-seasoned eggs and bacon on it with a slightly creamy sauce underneath, and the croissant crust is light and flaky. We think kids and adults will both enjoy this!
The cinnamon pull-apart bread was dense but still light enough for the bread to fall apart in perfectly sized pieces. It’s slight sweet and sticky and very tasty!
The chicken sausage we tried had some really great flavor, but the casing didn’t really snap like a good sausage does. There is a slight sweetness to it and you get some heat from the spices.
As expected, the cheesy potato casserole was fantastic! It’s shredded potato coated in cheese and baked so it has a nice crunch on top. You really can’t go wrong with cheese and potatoes!
The beef and potato hash has shoestring potatoes with beef, tomatoes, and vegetables. It’s seasoned well and definitely tasty, but we liked the cheesy potato casserole better as far as potato dishes go.
The spiced tofu scramble is a very textured dish with a nice medium spice to it. It has celery, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms in it and you get a little bit of a curry flavor. It’s a great option if you want something a bit more unique!
We also got some cheesy scrambled eggs which were delicious! There is a bunch of cheese and they’re nice and fluffy and seasoned well.
The bread pudding with the vanilla crème anglaise was really good! We do think the bread pudding could be a bit more moist, but the crème anglaise fixes that issue. The flavors are awesome — we loved this!
The Eggs Benedict was just your traditional style of this dish, but the egg was cooked perfectly, the muffin was toasted well, and the hollandaise on top was tasty! The carved ham we got was moist, flavorful, and warm — one of the best we’ve had on a breakfast buffet.
We also got some cheesy grits, which were cooked perfectly! They were nice and thick and cheesy. We kept going back for more!
Overall, our favorite items on the buffet were the croissant breakfast pizza, the cheesy potato casserole, and the cinnamon pull-apart bread!
We’re so happy to see 1900 Park Fare reopened! We really enjoyed all of the food and drinks, meeting the characters, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant. This is truly a great character dining option at Disney World!
