Two More Smellephants Arrive in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom
If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog, then you know how excited we are for Smellephants on Parade to open in Storybook Circus.
The new “search-and-sniff” adventure will see guests cast in the role of “Whiff-assistants” and give them the task of finding all eight Smellephant statues scattered around Storybook Circus.
While we still don’t have an opening date for Smellephants on Parade, more and more scented pachyderms have begun to pop up across Storybook Circus.
Last week, the first Smellephant, who resembles a popcorn bucket, appeared in front of Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
He was joined earlier this week by a Snowcone Smellephant, who is also situated by Dumbo, and a Carmel Apple Smellephant, who popped up holding a drum!
Well, it is my pleasure to introduce to you the next two members of the Smellephant family — Corn Dog Smellephant and Cotton Candy Smellephant.
A Cotton Candy Smellephant?!
The Cotton Candy Smellephant has arrived near the exit of Big Top Souvenirs.
Playing his trunk like a trumpet, this Smellephant looks adorable!
The top of the pachyderm is pink and is designed to look like it is made of cotton candy.
The bottom of the Cotton Candy Smellephant, meanwhile, consists of gold and blue stripes.
As you can see, this Smellephant looks ready to draw a crowd.
Here is one last look.
Corn Dog Smellephant
Over near Pete’s Silly Sideshow, the 5th Smellephant has arrived in the form of a Corn Dog Smellephant.
Proudly marching with his baton, this Smellephant is all smiles.
The top half of the newest member of the Smellephant gang is a reddish-brown.
True to his theming, this guy has ketchup and mustard on his torso!
Standing atop his podium with one foot raised, the Corn Dog Smellephant has blue and white checkered legs, resembling a corn dog wrapper!
The Smellephant Ticket Booth Has Been Unveiled
Guests Smellephant’s on Parade journey will begin at the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs.
Here, they will get their map, stickers, and instructions.
Yesterday, we reported that a new ticket booth had been installed. However, it was still covered by planters.
Today, however, the full booth has been unveiled, and it looks great!
The six-sided structure fits in well with the rest of Storybook Circus.
Here is a final look.
Check Back Soon!
In total, we have now seen five Smellephants and the new ticket booth. That means we still have three more pachyderms to go!
So, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you as Smellephants on Parade marches closer to opening.
