PHOTOS: New Ticket Booth Installed in Front of Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom

A couple of weeks ago, the ticket booth located in front of Big Top Souvenirs in the Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus was unceremoniously removed.

At the time, we posited that the ticket booth would return and that its temporary removal was a harbinger that Smellephants on Parade, the previously announced interactive “search-and-sniff” adventure, would soon be installed within the mini-land.

As it turned out, the second part of our prediction quickly came to fruition. Since that time, we have seen Smellephants pop up throughout Storybook Circus, and it doesn’t look like it will be long until the new experience opens.

A New Big Top Souvenirs Ticket Booth

Well, I am happy to report that as we await the opening of Smellephants on Parade,  a new ticket booth has arrived in front of Big Top Souvenirs. Based on what we know about the upcoming experience, the structure will serve as the start of guests’ Smellephants journey.

“When entering Storybook Circus, guests will stumble upon a casting call posted by Timothy Q. Mouse, seeking out a ‘Whiff-sistant’ to join Dumbo’s newest act. At the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs, a cast member will provide guests with an illustrated map of the land and a sticker sheet to guide them in their first task as a Whiff-sistant,” Disney explained in a recent preview of Smellephants on Parade.

As you can see, the ticket booth fits in perfectly with Big Top Souvenirs. It is even shaped like the ticket booth that previously resided in this location.

The color scheme, design, and aesthetic, however, have all been updated.

While we still don’t have an opening date for Smellephants on Parade, it shouldn’t be long now! I, for one, can’t wait!
