PHOTOS: New Booths Debut at the EPCOT Toll Plaza
For a park that was built on modernity, EPCOT’s toll plaza has been behind the times for years now. The dated booths used by Cast Members were boxy and did not fit in well with the park’s overall aesthetic.
Now, one year after the toll plaza got a new, more modern sign, the park’s individual toll kiosks are being replaced with new models.
These sleeker booths match the new units that recently arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Let’s Take a Closer Look!
Here is a closer look at the booths from the front.
And a look at the side.
Perhaps most importantly, the new booths have air conditioning! Cast Members working in the plaza are surely happy with this development. Hopefully, the kiosks improve both guests’ experience and Cast Members’ jobs.
As the toll plaza serves as most guests’ entry point to the park, it is good to see Disney investing in the infrastructure.
Here is a look at the plaza today. As you can see, the booths look great!
A Good Look For EPCOT
For a park that has been in the 21st Century since 1982, it is good to see EPCOT getting more modern infrastructure.
