PHOTOS: New Props Installed as Work Continues on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog, you know that it seems like the creation of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been progressing at a breakneck speed lately.
With just a couple of months to go until the ride’s debut, we have seen more activity than ever in Frontierland.
Today, when visiting Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we spotted progress being made in the queue, crews working near the ride itself, and even a slew of new props arriving in Frontierland! So, let’s take a quick tour, shall we?
Work on the Queue Continues
Let’s begin in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue, where construction workers are continuing to make progress on the new entryway.
Near the Tiana windmill, crews are transforming the area into a new entryway for guests.
While construction equipment and materials are currently everywhere, the queue structure is starting to come together.
Here is a look at a roundabout that guests will soon be able to walk through.
Construction on the stairwell, which can be spotted near the Frontierland train station, also seems to be progressing.
Here is another look.
New Frontierland Props Have Arrived!
Speaking of the queue, a slew of new props have been added that seem to tie Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with Big Thunder Mountain.
Crates of horseshoes, whisky, rifles, lumber tools, and lanterns now line the Tiana Bayou Adventure queue, adding a lot more character to the area.
Here is another look at some of the crates.
As you can see, these new props also fit in perfectly with the nearby Frontierland Train Station!
Lantern Additions and Rock Painting
Last but certainly not least, over on the attraction itself, we spotted workers adding lanterns to the bank of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
With ride testing already underway, it looks like Imagineers and construction crews are putting the final touches on the ride.
Here is a closer look at the new lanterns!
As some crews worked on installing the new props, others were painting the attraction’s rocks to match its brown hues.
With construction crews hard at work, hopefully, we will see the construction of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure wrap up relatively soon!
