Work Continues at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom as Opening Day Approaches
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open in Magic Kingdom this summer, and construction crews are hard at work as opening day approaches.
In recent weeks, Disney fans have been treated to lots of new information about the upcoming attraction. From ride testing to these adorable critter characters, there’s a lot to be excited about when it comes to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
As fans anxiously await news of an official opening date, construction crews are busy getting the attraction ready for its long-awaited debut.
On a recent visit to Magic Kingdom, our team noticed significant changes to the attraction and the surrounding area. Let’s check it out!
Construction Continues As Opening Day Approaches
We’ve watched for over a year as the mountain peaks of Splash Mountain have transformed into the lush, rolling hills of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Now, crews are turning their attention to the magical details that will bring the attraction to life this summer.
As construction walls come down, more greenery, foliage, and flowers have emerged around the attraction. The new shrubbery will fit right in with the lush, green look of Tiana’s salt mine!
Meanwhile, construction crews are building a new staircase to the left side of the railroad…
…and railings have been installed around the queue.
As opening day approaches and more of the attraction becomes viewable, guests get a glimpse of the final product!
When Will Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Open?
Last month, Disney announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open earlier than expected in the summer of 2024! However, the attraction’s opening date is still a mystery.
