Props and Details Reappear at Fantasyland Train Station in Magic Kingdom
At Walt Disney World, the magic is always in the details, isn’t it? From hidden Mickeys to the windows on Main Street, U.S.A., it’s the intricate props and details that bring Disney’s fantasy worlds to life.
It’s been a few years since we’ve seen that high level of detail at the Storybook Circus Fantasyland Train Station in Magic Kingdom, but that seems to have changed this weekend!
As Disney prepares for the mysterious Smellephants on Parade in Storybook Circus, colorful props and details have reappeared at the Fantasyland train station after a multi-year absence.
Our team spotted the eye-catching changes in Fantasyland this weekend. Let’s check it out!
Refreshed Props and Details
The refreshed decor reappeared at the Walt Disney R.R. Receiving building near the train exit.
The colorful barrels and suitcases bring the area to life and add a charming sense of realism to the station.
Our eagle-eyed MickeyBlog reporters even spotted some magical easter eggs!
Some of the trunks belong to fairytale characters like The Big Bad Wolf and Hyacinth the Hippo of Fantasia fame.
There’s even a “Melody Time” trunk!
This is a nod to Disney’s 1948 anthology film Melody Time.
Meanwhile, blue- and red-striped barrels add a beautiful pop of color, and a barrel labeled “Peanuts” lets us know that Dumbo always has snacks on hand!
You’ll also find a red trunk labeled “Red’s Amazing Juggling Unicycles”…
…and some vintage-vibe tins that read “Ten Schillings and Sixpence LTD.”
We’re so glad to have these amazing details back at Storybook Circus Fantasyland Train Station!
