Spring Break Arrives in Disney World and the Crowds are Here to Prove It!
Spring break season has arrived in Walt Disney World, and the crowds are here to prove it!
With Easter quickly approaching and schools nationwide beginning their annual spring breaks, guests are surging into the parks this week to enjoy some warm weather and Disney magic.
With Easter only a few weeks away, it should come as no surprise that Disney World is experiencing some of its highest crowd levels right now. Genie+ prices surged today, reaching a 2024 high, while the multi-park option sold out entirely.
Our MickeyBlog reporters experienced long waits and high crowds this morning, as Disney World kicked off one of its busiest weeks of the year.
Naturally, the parks are feeling crowded and busy everywhere from Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom to World Nature over in EPCOT.
Let’s check it out!
Spring Break Arrives in EPCOT
The crowds were out in full force in EPCOT this morning, and guests waited patiently for a caffeine fix at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company.
Elsewhere in EPCOT, Living with the Land experienced particularly long waits…
..while Soarin’ reached a 95-minute standby wait and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure surged to a staggering 165-minute wait.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana was also backed up this morning, while guests queued up for a 55-minute wait to explore the ocean on The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
Lines extended beyond the queue over at Spaceship Earth, where guests waited patiently for a voyage through space and time.
Crowds Surge into Magic Kingdom
Of course, Magic Kingdom isn’t immune to Spring Break crowds, either!
Guests experienced long waits for Peter Pan’s Flight, with the Lightning Lane line extending all the way down to Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel.
Meanwhile, queues for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad filled up outside of the attraction…
…and even less popular attractions saw a spike in wait times.
Located in the Storybook Circus section of Magic Kingdom, The Barnstormer experienced stand-by waits of close to an hour.
