Update: Dreamcatcher and Star Blaster Ships Appear on CommuniCore Mural
If you follow along with MickeyBlog you know that EPCOT has been undergoing an amazing transformation, and we have been sharing regular updates of the construction.
The new CommuniCore Hall and Plaza is supposed to open by the end of 2024 and is one of the last pieces still in progress.
Last year, Disney unveiled a mural coming to CommuniCore Hall, and our team reported on the first glimpses of it a few weeks back.
Even though the green construction walls are up, we saw some artwork featuring Minnie, Mickey, and Goofy.
Our team spotted the newest updates to this awesome new structure, and more of the mural is taking shape.
Newest Mural Updates
CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT is looking great and coming along nicely. Construction crews are working daily to complete work in this area.
The geometric pattern and tiles are still being completed on the exterior of the building.
Though construction walls still block a lot of what is happening behind the scenes, we are able to catch a glimpse of the newest additions.
In addition to the Mickey and Friends characters, we noticed that new attractions and icons have popped up.
The Cosmic Rewind Starblaster ship and Dreamfinder ship are now visible. Here is a great look from a distance.
You can really see the bright colors and how the images pop as you get closer.
Another great look.
Just toward the bottom of the mural, we can see the beloved Dreamfinder ship in dark maroon with stars trailing behind.
And just to its left, the Cosmic Rewind Starblaster ship is visible in yellow and blue.
Here is another great look at the new artwork.
CommuniCore Hall is scheduled to open sometime this year, and we are excited to see more of the CommuniCore Mural come to life.
