Pathway Closure Forces Guests to Find Alternate Route in EPCOT
EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival kicked off yesterday and the crowds have arrived in full force! If you’re among them today, there’s an important pathway closure to be aware of as you navigate the park in search of all that delicious festival food and exclusive festival merchandise!

Today, festivalgoers will need to find alternate routes near the Imagination pavilion as an important walkway has been temporarily closed off.

Pathway Closure in EPCOT
If you’re a Disney Parks regular, chances are you’ve got your favorite park routes all figured out! And if you’re NOT a Disney Parks regular? Well, any change to those handy maps can be enough to send you into a tailspin!
Luckily, MickeyBlog reporters spotted this EPCOT pathway closure so you’ll know to plan your routes accordingly.
Closed Walkway at EPCOT
Currently, the pathway that connects EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood to the World Showcase is blocked off by a series of rolling planters. The foliage isn’t exactly an eyesore, but it still poses the question of how to navigate between these two sections of the park.
To get a better idea of what’s happening, here’s a look at the map:

The pink marks indicate the pathway closure.
Since this is the only direct path between World Nature and World Showcase, guests coming from the Imagination pavilion must head back up toward World Nature and The Land pavilion and then walk through World Celebration.

From there, make your way down toward World Showcase, where you’ll arrive near Port of Entry.
