Leave Biscuits & Gravy to the Experts, Disney.
The first day of the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is finally here! We’re in the park today to give you all the important info on the entertainment, topiaries, activities, and (most importantly) the food.
So, come with us as we determine which food booths are worth your time and money!
BRUNCHCOT
The BRUNCHCOT booth is located over in World Discovery near the front of Test Track (the name being completely capitalized is a bit aggressive, don’t we think?). This is a returning booth that focuses on, you guessed it, brunch items.
There is one new item on the menu this year, and the rest are returning.
First up, we’re trying the new item here — the Biscuit and Gravy with IMPOSSIBLE chicken fried steak and IMPOSSIBLE sausage gravy for $6.75. I’m a little bit skeptical about a meatless biscuit and gravy situation, but let’s see!
Welp, I was right to be skeptical, because this was not good. The steak was overcooked, dry, and just didn’t really have a food flavor to it. The gravy didn’t help either!
Next, we got the returning Avocado Toast! This is definitely a favorite amongst festival-goers and it comes with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles on toasted ciabatta for $6.
The toast is a plant-based item and is also one of the items on the Garden Graze Food Stroll. The combo of the cheese, bread, tomatoes, and avocado is delicious!
Finally, we got the returning Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon for $5. As usual, this is delicious sweet and savory perfection.
As for drinks over here, there is a non-alcoholic Froot Loops Shake for $5, a Peach Bellini for $11.50, and a Coffee Cocktail that has Joffrey’s Coffee with milk, vanilla vodka, and Kahlúa rum and coffee liqueur for $11.
If you want some brunch while you’re in EPCOT, go here for the avocado toast and cinnamon roll bites, we would skip the biscuits and gravy.
