The planned development will be centered on the Horizon West area on Hartzog Road in Orange County, Florida.
The company says they selected the land because it was near a thriving community, close to employers, shopping, services, public schools, and an area of rest and recreation.

“We feel there is no better-positioned community in Central Florida to provide residents the opportunity to start a new chapter of their story,” Disney says.
Distinct Neighborhoods
According to Disney, the community is being planned to include a mix of building typologies with a focus on storytelling and the arts.
Each neighborhood will feature a consistent look and feel, which will “provide a sense of belonging for future residents who will have access to amenities that provide ample space to focus on their wellness.”

To bring the new neighborhoods to life, Disney is teaming up with The Michaels Organization, which has provided comprehensive solutions to affordable housing for years.
Disney Says They Will Not Benefit From the New Development
The new complex will be built near Magic Kingdom. According to Disney, the development is not government-funded, and Disney will not benefit financially from the development.
