Zombies 4, the next installment in Disney’s hit movie franchise, is coming to Disney Channel and Disney+, along with a brand-new animated series set in the Zombies world.

Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television, made the exciting announcement this weekend at Disney’s 2024 Television Critics Association winter press tour.

Return to Zombieland with ‘Zombies 4’
Ready to head back to Zombieland? ‘Zombies 4’ will follow Zed and Addison on a road trip after their first year at college. Adventure, drama, and catchy musical numbers ensue as they discover two new types of monsters and two supernatural new towns.

The movie will begin filming in New Zealand this March, with Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim returning as power couple Addison and Zed.
Chandler Kinney will also reprise her role as Alpha werewolf Willa, while Kylee Russell returns as Eliza.

New additions to the cast include British singer-songwriter Freya Skye and Disney Channel veteran Malachi Barton. Barton appeared as Beast Diaz on Disney Channel’s Stuck in the Middle and is the voice of Lionel in Disney’s animated series Fancy Nancy. The newcomers will play Nova and Victor, a mysterious pair of supernatural new characters.
The movie’s release date is unknown at this time.
Zombies: The Re-Animated Series
Without a release date for Zombies 4, there’s no telling how long fans will have to wait for the new movie installment. Luckily, more Zombies content is on the way!

Zombies: The Re-Animated Series will debut on Disney+ and Disney Channel this summer. The new series is a first for Disney’s uber-successful zombie franchise. Zombies veterans Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Kylee Russell, Chandler Kinney, and Trevor Tordjman will all lend their voices to the animated series.
