New Construction Happening at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe!
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
Walt Disney knew the importance of progress, and it appears that there is a lot of updating happening at Walt Disney World right now.
MickeyBlog has shared “first looks” and updated photos of these daily changes. Everything from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to the DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort to the Blue Ribbon Corn Dog Stand at Disney’s BoardWalk.
Today, we noticed construction happening at one of our favorite merchandise locations in Magic Kingdom. Let’s take a closer look at the construction happening at Ye Old Christmas Shoppe.
News and Updates
It is common for small and large refurbishments to happen this time of year, and our team noticed some small maintenance happening at this popular Christmas store.
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe features an amazing selection of holiday gifts all year long and is a popular location. This is also home to a Santa Sleigh photo op during the holidays.
Our team noticed construction blocking the middle door of the building earlier today.
Nothing major appears to be happening, but there are black tarps and construction walls blocking guest view. We do not have specifics as to what refurbishment is being done, but from the size and the look of the area, it appears to be minimal.
Guests can still visit Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and explore its amazing offerings.
Be sure to stay tuned and follow along with us for more construction updates happening at Magic Kingdom.
