PHOTOS: New Construction Updates for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Fans of The Princess and the Frog are getting ready for this year’s most anticipated Disney attraction opening. And great news, Disney fans- there has been even more progress and updates happening this week for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Our reporting team has been bringing you new photos and first-looks at all of these updates.
Some big updates and some small, but all leading us closer to the opening of the attraction sometime this year.
Today, we have more photos of the most recent construction updates. Let’s take a closer look.
Newest Updates
These photos show the construction team are hard at work on the exterior of the attraction.
There is still plenty of scaffolding up and a lot of beautiful greenery.
Our team noticed a small update today. More flowers are being added to the side of the mountain.
Here is another great look – the transformation from Splash Mountain is amazing.
Construction News
Here is another great look at the colorful lanterns. MickeyBlog reported on these earlier this month.
The lanterns feature various jewel tones and unique shapes.
The flume attraction is being completely re-themed and scheduled to open sometime this year.
Another small update our team noticed? Netting has been installed in the water.
Our team snapped a close-up of the most recent update.
And here is another great look at the netting.
Rocks have also slowly been added to the attractions exterior.
The progress is coming along, and we can’t wait to see the finished product.
This pathway was previously closed at the beginning of the week, but has since reopened.
The greenery that was blocking the path has been moved, and we have a great visual of the colorful mural in the backdrop.
Additional work is being done under the bridge and walkway.
Red warning tape and tarps are used to block off smaller sections of the attraction.

Fans will hop aboard and follow Tiana and friends on a journey through the Bayou and get ready for a Mardi Gras Celebration.
Scheduled to open in 2024, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure picks up where the movie left off and brings fans into the next chapter of Tiana’s story.
