Columbia Harbour House Construction Wraps Up in Fantasyland
It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Columbia Harbour House in all its glory. But while the popular quick-service restaurant has been largely hidden behind scrim since late fall, it seems that construction is now complete in Fantasyland.
Our team stopped by for a closer look at the restaurant’s refreshed look. Let’s check it out!
Construction Wraps Up in Fantasyland
Earlier this week, construction walls were removed along the left side of the entrance, but the scrim remained on the opposite side of the door.
As a result, the building’s facade was still partially obscured and access to the pathway was still limited.
Today, MickeyBlog reporters found that the remaining scrim has since been removed.
Now, guests can once again enjoy the full effect of the restaurant’s charming facade!
Construction Continues in Liberty Square
Columbia Harbour House construction may be complete in Fantasyland, but work continues on the Liberty Square side of the building.
Scrim and black tarp are still in place around Columbia Harbour House, obscuring the New England-inspired facade from view.
Meanwhile, the restaurant’s exit is also still surrounded by scrim. Guests exit the building from a narrow “hallway.”
Maintenance and refurbishment are a way of life at Walt Disney World, and we’re excited to see the finished product!
Good Eats at Columbia Harbour House
We love the beautiful exterior of Columbia Harbour House, but we all know it’s what’s on the inside that counts! And inside this popular quick-service restaurant, you’ll find an air-conditioned respite from the crowds…
and an impressive array of delicious New England-inspired foods. If Boston Cream Pie, New England Clam Chowder, and savory Lobster Rolls make your mouth water, be sure to include Columbia Harbour House on your next visit to Magic Kingdom!
