Fans of Disney and Pixar’s 2022 animated film Turning Red just may be turning red with excitement this week!
Mei Mei and Ming Lee have turned up at Disney California Adventure just in time for the park’s Lunar New Year Festival — and we couldn’t be more excited!

Mei Mei and her mother Ming greet Disney California Adventure guests underneath a canopy of red paper lanterns.
You can find them near The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in the Paradise Gardens section of the park.

Wearing the same playful outfit she wears in Turning Red, Mei Mei rocks a pleated skirt, a pink button-down Fair Isle sweater, purple leggings, and some cute and comfy kicks. Her bright turquoise barette and trademark round glasses complete the look.
But the BEST thing about Mei Mei just might be her panda ears and tell-tale tail poking out from beneath her skirt!

Meanwhile, stoic Ming is all decked out in her blue-striped dress, emerald green blazer, stud earrings, and of course, her Red Panda necklace.

Turning Red
Released straight to Disney+ in 2022, Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red focuses on 13-year-old Meilin Lee, who is stunned by her sudden transformation into a giant red panda.
