Colorful Updates at Blue Ribbon Corn Dog Stand in Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World Resort’s upcoming corn dog stand has recently received a lick of fresh paint… albeit not in the color you might expect!
Over the past few months, work has been steadily progressing in transforming a quaint outdoor snack kiosk into a long-awaited, highly-anticipated, yet somewhat controversial corn dog stand.
But not just any corn dog stand. Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs!
Which is why the construction update we’re bringing to you today may be construed as a bit odd.
As you can see, the kiosk has been painted yellow!
So no, not blue.
Don’t worry – we can still confirm that this definitely will be a Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs location when the refurbishment is complete, yet with a snazzy pale yellow color scheme which we think looks beautiful amid the casual hues of the BoardWalk promenade.
Prior to this transformation, the kiosk housed a snack stop known as “BoardWalk To Go,” which did have a blue color scheme on its marquee. We’d assume this swap to yellow was chosen to better highlight the change in business, drawing new customers to the tasty new spot.
As you can see from our photos, there’s little else to report on the construction update, with those temporary wheeled planters still firmly parked around the hut to block off any view.
Now the paint job has been completed, we will hope to spot some signage appear next, or maybe more details to the kiosk’s façade.
UPDATE: As of January 23rd, 2024, we noticed that a new color of paint has been added to the exterior of the building!
In less than 24 hours, Disney added a bright shade of blue paint to the building.
Construction seems to be moving faster now, so perhaps we’ll see Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs open soon!
As ever, we’ll keep a close eye on the site for updates each time our reporters are over there in the EPCOT resort area. Be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog for more details, as the availability of those tasty Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is creeping nearer and nearer here at Walt Disney World!
