A Controversial Corn Dog is Coming to Disney World
In case you missed it, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is coming to Disney World soon!
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs has been a popular staple in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney for some time now, and we’re ready for the deep-fried goodness to make its way to Disney’s BoardWalk later in 2023. And now we have a small update involving one of their infamous corn dogs!
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Hints About Future
In their Instagram stories (@blueribboncorndogs), they opened up to answer questions from viewers, and they made sure to note that there’s not yet an official opening date for the new stand in Disney World.
We already know that Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs will take over the former BoardWalk To Go stand located on the BoardWalk, but one reader wanted to know if that will be close to Beaches & Cream, located in Disney’s Beach Club. Technically, they won’t be too far apart, but not exactly next to each other, as the corn dog stand will be closer to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Also, Blue Ribbon stated that they’re still finalizing the menu, and it’s possible that jalapeno poppers may be on the menu.
And BIG NEWS — they confirmed that the Pickle Dog will be available at the Disney World location! The Pickle Dog is made with a hot dog wrapped in a pickle, fried in cornmeal batter, and panko crusted. It’s also served with…peanut butter??
As someone who hates pickles, this sounds terrible, but MickeyBlogger Kayla is very excited to give it a try.
Disney has not yet shared the official opening date for Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Disney World, but they did say it will be later in 2023. We’ll be watching the BoardWalk closely for more updates, especially as we wait for another new location to open — the Cake Bake Shop Bakery!
