Changes Made to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Disney World
If you’re looking for entertainment that’s a bit more unique in Disney World, there’s one show you need to experience at least once.
Located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show, which features 2 hours of entertainment while you dine on an all-you-care-to-enjoy menu and unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria for diners 21 and over.
Basically, it’s dinner and a show, and it finally reopened after a lengthy closure back in 2022. Now we’re back seeing the show to check out a new song they recently added!
What is Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue?
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue takes place at Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds.
There are three showtimes you can book (advance reservations are recommended) — 4PM, 6:15PM, and 8:30PM, Wednesday through Sunday. Pricing depends on which category you choose for seating and the ages of everyone in your party.
You can take a look at the pricing below:
- Category 1: $74 ages 10+, $44 ages 3-9
- Category 2: $69 ages 10+, $40 ages 3-9
- Category 3: $66 ages 10+, $39 ages 3-9
Disney asks that you arrive 30 minutes prior to check-in, and keep in mind that depending on where you’re staying in Disney World, it can take some time to travel to The Campsites at Fort Wilderness.
There are no direct bus routes between Disney hotels and Fort Wilderness, but there is parking at the resort if you’re driving. You can also opt to take the ferry from Magic Kingdom. Just make sure you plan for time!
Hoop-Dee-Doo Food
Our table was located in the center of the upper balcony, which gave us an incredible view! There is also seating on the sides of the balcony and on the first floor. Remember, what you pay depends on where your table is located.
The first serving was tossed green salad, creamy coleslaw, and fresh-baked cornbread.

The entrees were fried chicken and smoked BBQ pork ribs, while side dishes included cowboy beans, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese.
Diners over 21 can also enjoy unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria, as well as soft drinks.

For dessert, it’s the famous strawberry shortcake! So famous, they even sing a song about it.
Changes in Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue
The music set list for Hoop-Dee-Doo typically includes around 16 songs/performances, several of which also involve audience participation — so they can vary.
The show begins about 20 minutes after the doors open.
The show features characters named Claire DeLune, Dolly Drew, Flora Long, Jim Handy, Johnny Ringo, and Six Bits.
But Disney has added a new song to the show for 2024. Here’s a snippet of Old Devil Moon.

This song emphasizes romance as a crooner woos a lady friend.
The Cast Members are clearly having fun as they play up this wholesome bit of courtship.
After a moment, the two of them go to the crowd, where he proceeds to sing to her from across the room.
And the fresh story approach adds some fun to the beloved but well-known Hoop-Dee-Doo saga.
To the best of our knowledge, this was the only major change tonight.
Some Cast Members told our reporters that the show occasionally includes more modern songs, but this one was new.
You can hear another snippet of the new song on our Instagram feed.
