PHOTOS: Disney100 Banners and Decor Temporarily Removed at EPCOT
Good morning MickeyBlog friends! If you follow along with us, you already know that Disney World and Central Florida is bracing for an afternoon and evening of intense storms and wind.
While many guests and visitors are watching the weather updates and taking precautions, Disney World Resort is also taking steps to ensure safety.
Our team is at EPCOT this morning and noticed that the Disney100 banners and decor have been temporarily removed, most likely due to the inclement weather.
EPCOT Updates
Check out the storm clouds! EPCOT spent the last few hours removing Disney100 Banners and decor.
This photo was taken right at the front of the park. It is typically where we would see Festival of the Art signage and decor, but it is not up yet and most likely delayed a few days.
The Disney100 medallion that read “Thank you for celebrating with us” is normally nestled in this greenery.
As you can see the medallion is removed as of this morning.
Here is a great morning photo of EPCOT- regardless of the weather, guests are lining up and ready for a great day at EPCOT.
Just behind the guests, the flags are up on both sides of Spaceship Earth,
However, the banner poles are empty.
Be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog- we are in the parks this morning and tracking the weather and park updates.
