What to Expect at the Disneyland Resort in December!
Happy Holidays from the Disneyland Resort!
December is a busy month around Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. From a holiday festival to long ride closures–a lot is going on. So before you take your trip this month, prepare yourself with this list of what to expect while you’re there!
Holiday Celebrations
Let’s start off with what you’re really excited about–the holiday celebrations! Over in Disney California Adventure, you can dig into the holiday season at any of the Festival of Holidays food booths.
But that’s not all the park has to offer during the holidays. There’s also Disney ¡Viva Navidad, World of Color Season of Light, and holiday ride overlays over at Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl!
You can also grab some holiday treats at Disneyland Park, watch “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” or “Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks, and ride the holiday overlays at Haunted Mansion and it’s a small world.
You also don’t want to miss the chance to check out the adorable gingerbread house at the Grand Californian, which was crafted by Chip ‘n Dale!
December 31st (New Years Eve) usually brings fireworks, a countdown to midnight, dance parties, and tons of fun! (Disney hasn’t announced what to expect in the parks on New Years Eve yet.)
Closures
For the entire month, Mark Twain Riverboat and Astro Orbitor will remain closed for refurbishments.
And that’s everything you can expect at Disneyland Resort during December! We’ll keep bringing you the latest from around the parks, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
