PHOTOS: Come With Us to Disney California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays!
If you’re visiting the Disneyland Resort during the holidays, be sure to bring your appetite with you!
Looking for festive food offerings? You’re in luck–the resort is packed with tons of holiday options, especially over in Disney California Adventure. So let’s head over to the park’s Festival of Holidays to see what they’re cooking up!
Disney California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays
EPCOT isn’t the only Disney Park hosting a festival for the holiday season! Disney California Adventure is in the midst of its own Festival of Holidays, running from November 10th, 2023 through January 7th, 2024. During the festival, food booths are sprinkled throughout the entire park, offering cultural holiday dishes!
It’s hard to eat just one thing at this festival, which is why Disney has a Sip and Savor Pass! This pass is $56 (Magic Key holder discounts apply) and provides you with 8 tabs to use at the booths. They’re eligible to redeem any food or drink item, excluding alcohol.
Some of this year’s dishes are heavy hitters returning for yet another season–like the Braised Pork Belly Adobo with garlic rice from the Favorite Things booth! If you’re a fan of garlic, you definitely need to grab this dish.
Winter Sliderland has a Beef Brisket Slider with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll. The booth also has a Togarashi Karage Chicken Slider with furikake mayo slaw on a Hawaiian roll.
Over in Hollywood Land, we grabbed the Barabacoa Tamal de Res with Oaxaca cheese, tomatillo salsa, and crema at Grandma’s Recipes, and the Esquites Carnitas Mac & Cheese with salsa macha and spiced puffed rice from Holiday Duets. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we also grabbed the Chocolate Tart with TWIX from Holiday Duets, which is a sugar tart filled with caramel and chocolate mousse, topped with TWIX cookie bar pieces and holiday sprinkles.
These items were, by far, the best food we tried at this festival. Do not miss out on your chance to dig into these dishes!
We washed down those delicious items with the Berry Pomegranate Paloma from Grandma’s Recipes. The drink comes with Blanco Tequila, blueberry purée, lime, cranberry, and pomegranate juices, and agave syrup topped with fresca mixed vodka spritz and garnished with an orange wheel and chile lime seasoned rim.
Disney California Adventure is also celebrating Diwali in the backlot with some special treats…
…and snacks!
So if you’re heading to the resort during the holiday season, be sure to spend some time at Disney California Adventure! This festival isn’t one you want to miss. And we’ll keep updating you with the latest from around the resort, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
