Indulge in Delicious Eats at the Tuscany Holiday Kitchen!
Welcome to the first day of the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! We’re here at the festival taking in all of the food, entertainment, merchandise, and more.
Right now, we’re heading on over to a returning Holiday Kitchen to try out a bunch of new foods — let’s go!
Tuscany Holiday Kitchen
Tuscany Holiday Kitchen is located over in the Italy pavilion and there are a bunch of new items on the menu this year!
Take a look at the menu:
First up, let’s check out the new Montanara. This is fried house-made pizza dough with pomodoro sauce, parmesan, and fresh basil for $9.
The new eat looks great, but here is what our reporter shared:
“This was fried dough that was pretty greasy with some marinara on top. As simple as this dish sounds that’s how badly they messed it up. It was just really bad and almost inedible. Italy booth is a pass- always.”
Next we have the new Farfalle Salmone Affumicato. This is farfalle pasta with smoked salmon and cream sauce for $10.
Once again our reporters were disappointed and underwhelmed:
We took one bite and couldn’t even go back for more. It had a really bad fishy taste and not in a good way. I would not recommend this pasta.
Hopefully the desserts did better! The team tried the new Dolce Pizza, which is fried house-made pizza dough with sugar and cinnamon for $7.50.
MickeyBlog thought this was pretty good. “It’s not the best, but it also was not the worst.”
There is also the new Torta Caprese on the menu. This is a flourless chocolate torta with chocolate sauce and vanilla cream for $8.50.
As for drinks over here, you can get Prosecco, Moscato, Chianti, Italian Sangria (Red or White), an Italian Margarita with tequila and limoncello, or a Peroni Pilsner.
