Fill Up Our Stockings with the Sweets from Holiday Hearth Desserts in EPCOT, Please!
The holiday season has officially hit Disney World, and you know what that means — festive foods!
Okay, so maybe the holiday decorations or merry merchandise are the first things that come to mind for you. But we’re pretty passionate about food over here at MickeyBlog, which is why we’re so excited to experience the holiday bites they’re serving at EPCOT Festival of the Holidays! And speaking of it, let’s head over to the park and check out one of the sweetest festival locations they have!
Holiday Hearth Desserts
Over at Holiday Hearth Desserts in the Odyssey Pavilion, you can dig into some treats, sip on some cocoa, or even grab an alcoholic beverage!
Menu
There are tons of sweets you can choose from over at Holiday Hearth Desserts!
Here’s a look at the menu:
The new items over here include the Minch Chocolate Mousse Wreath, Apple Caramel Crumb Cake, and Chocolate-Covered Toffee Brittle. You can also get a Cookie Stroll item here — the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie.
What We Tried
Let’s dig into some sweets, shall we? Today, we tried the new Chocolate Covered Toffee Brittle for $4.25.
This brittle was very nice and crunchy and the sugar melts in your mouth! Both the chocolate and the toffee have a really good snap.
We thought this was super tasty! You get both the richness and sweetness of the chocolate along with the nutty flavor from the toffee.
Next up we got the new Apple Caramel Crumb Cake for $4.75. This was absolutely delicious!
The cake was fresh and moist with a nice crumb on top. There are also chunks of apples inside.
The icing and caramel on top were great as well — we’d definitely order this one again!
We also tried the Cookie Stroll item at this booth, the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie for $3. We’ll be reviewing that with the other cookies we get in the stroll later today, so stay tuned!
For a drink we got the Frozen Caramel Hot Chocolate with Twix cookie bar pieces and whipped cream for $5.25.
This tasted like a chocolate milkshake! You also get a little bit of the caramel flavor, but it’s pretty subtle.
The drink also melted relatively fast and it’s not even very hot in the park today, but otherwise it was great!
And that’s everything we tried over at Holiday Hearth Desserts!
If you’re visiting EPCOT for the festival, be sure to head over here for something sweet. And we’ll keep updating you with the latest around the parks, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com!
