An Amazing New Disney100 View-Master Has Landed at Walt Disney World
At the core of most Disney fans is an acute sense of nostalgia. Whether we are nostalgic for the films we grew up watching, the memories that we made at the Disney Parks, or the people that make those memories so special, there is something about Disney that goes hand in hand with nostalgia.
Despite being born a couple of decades late for their heyday, I have a unique nostalgia for Disney View-Masters.

Growing up, both sets of my grandparents had old View-Masters with Disney slides, left over from a generation before.
Before the dawn of the internet, View-Masters were amazing ways to see stills from classic Disney films.

Well, apparently I am not the only one who has nostalgic feelings for Disney View-Masters.
A 3-D Disney View-Master
Today, when visiting the Magic Kingdom’s Emporium, we found that Disney has released a Disney100 View-Master 3-D.
This new release takes the classic View-Master and makes it even cooler.
The View-Master itself is shaped like Mickey’s head.
Adding to the fun, however, is the fact that the set also comes with 3-D glasses!
As far as the View-Master slides, this set includes 9 reels that feature slides from Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, and Peter Pan. The three films were chosen as representatives of Disney’s animated library.
I love everything about this release, not only does it celebrate Disney’s storied history, but it does so with a flair of nostalgia.
