Yes, A brand new drink has appeared on the menu at one of our favorite swanky lounges at Walt Disney World. What is it, where can you get it, and what did we think? Read on, and let’s find out…
So, now that ‘Pumpkin Spice Season’ has officially fizzled out, you may be wondering what you’re even supposed to eat or drink anymore.
But, don’t worry! Because, as always, Joffrey’s has got you covered. Once again, the infamous coffee connoisseurs have gone and created a specialist barista menu of unique seasonal concoctions, sure to entice any caffeine-hunting park-goer!
This afternoon, our MickeyBloggers were over at the swanky Barcelona Lounge, located inside the ever-fabulous Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Here, there’s a spicy new Joffrey’s coffee treat on the menu, which we absolutely had to try out!
Enter the Gingersnap Cold Brew, this coffee sure sounds like exactly the sort of festive treat we want to enjoy as we admire the spectacular decorations of the Walt Disney World resort hotels.
It smells like a cozy winter dream, so let’s take a sip and see what we think!
According to the menu card, this is a classic Joffrey’s Cold Brew blend, mixed with Gingerbread and Maple Syrups. There are lashings of snowy whipped cream on top, and even a scattering of festive gingerbread cookie crumbles to finish the drink off.
It has to be said, in front of the twinkling decorations at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, the coffee sure does look photogenic!
It was our MickeyBlogger Kayla who tried this out for us, and she gave us a very positive review of the drink. Kayla told us the cold brew was good – as we’ve come to love and expect from Joffrey’s – and that the fun cookie crumbles on top added a nice texture she enjoyed.
However, with two syrups flavoring this coffee, it definitely was on the sweet side.!
So, our overall thoughts? Well if you aren’t a syrup lover, this might be one to skip. However, if you do love the sweetness of festive flavors we’d certainly recommend giving this a try. It costs $5.29 from the Barcelona Lounge.
Whether you’re a coffee addict, cocoa lover, or tea drinker yourself, we’d always urge you to check out the seasonal specialties over at the different Joffrey’s locations around Walt Disney World.
There aresome delicious and unique offerings to be tried around the resort this holiday season, so be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com for all our photos, reviews, and recommendations!
