NEW Pin Trading Rules Going Into Effect at Disneyland Resort
In case you didn’t hear–Disneyland Resort has released some strict pin trading rules for the parks.
Pin trading is a huge activity around Disneyland…so huge, that most park guests know to expect pin displays on the benches at Frontierland’s entrance–where most pin traders set up their collections. But all of that is changing–check out Disneyland Resort’s new pin trading rules.
Pin Trading Rules
The park’s benches can no longer be used for pin trading. This new rule seems to be in response to the benches at the Frontierland entrance being used to display pin collections. Disney has now specified that they can only be used for seating.
Pin traders can now only bring one trading bag that’s 14″L x 12″W x 6″H (36cm x 31cm x 16cm) or smaller. Guests also cannot have any additional decorations like displays or signs.
Pin traders must also stay with their items when they’re displaying or trading their collection. Guest pin trading that exceeds the use of a lanyard must only be done near Westward Ho Trading Company, from the opening of the park to 3PM. (The time and location are subject to change, so speak with a Cast Member for confirmation.)
