Disney Announces $800 New Year’s Eve Party at California Grill

For fans planning on visiting Walt Disney World this New Year’s Eve, the place to ring in 2024 will be the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

For the first time ever, the Contemporary will be hosting Alice’s Whimsical World of Wonderland, a special hard-ticket New Year’s event.

As part of the festivities, the California Grill will be transformed into an immersive romp through Wonderland!

Don’t worry, Alice and her friends will be on hand for the festivities.

Alice’s Whimsical World of Wonderland attendees will first come face-to-face with The Doorknob in the California Grill’s entry. Then, throughout the night, Alice, The Mad Hatter, and The March Hare will be present in the dining room. Even Dinah the Hat Lady might be in attendance.

But beware! The Queen of Hearts may be lurking around the corner at any time.

Finally, DJing the party will be the one and only White Rabbit, who has curated an upbeat playlist for the occasion.

The merry party will also have custom-crafted cocktails and a champagne toast at midnight.

A Lewis Carroll-Inspired Menu

For dinner, guests will be able to float through the California Grill’s rooms and find food stations inspired by Lewis Carroll’s imaginative stories.

A Night To Remember

Alice’s Whimsical World of Wonderland will begin at 7:30 p.m. on December 31 and continue until 12:30 a.m. on January 1.

Attending the party will cost guests $799 which includes tax and gratuity. Full payment is due at the time of booking, and cancellations must occur at least one day before the event to avoid being charged full price.

To complement their dining experience, Guests 21 and older can select from an extensive collection of hand-picked wines. Most of which are from California.

Guests are expected to dress accordingly in clothes that respect the upscale aesthetic. According to Disney, clothing should be clean, neat, and in good condition.
