Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened on May 1, 1989 and was known as Disney-MGM Studios at that time. It wasn’t until January 6, 2008 that the park would be called Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
During the live stream, the hosts stated, “This new anniversary logo features Mickey and Minnie Mouse. It will start appearing in the park in late January. Other versions featuring additional characters have been created and will roll out in the coming weeks.”
