Robin Hood Released (1973)
On this day in 1973, Robin Hood was released.
Disney’s 21st animated feature film featured the voice talents of Brian Bedford, Phil Harris, Andy Devine, Peter Ustinov, Monica Evans, George Lindsey, and Ken Curtis.
Big Thunder Mountain Officially Opens (1980)
On this day in 1980, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had its grand opening at the Magic Kingdom.
The wildest ride in the wilderness had been running since September.
Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving Released (1999)
On this day in 1999, Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving was released.
The direct-to-video film featured A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving and two episodes of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Disney and Siemens Reach Marketing Deal (2005)
On this day in 2005, The Walt Disney Company and Siemens AG signed a 12-year marketing agreement.
As part of the deal, Siemens became the official sponsor of Spaceship Earth and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
Thor: The Dark World Released (2013)
On this day in 2013, Thor: The Dark World was released.
The sequel to 2011’s Thor saw Chris Hemsworth return as the God of Thunder alongside Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
Coco Live in Concert Performed
On this day in 2019, Coco Live in Concert was preferred for the first time at the Hollywood Bowl.
The live re-telling of Pixar’s Coco featured an all-star cast that included Benjamin Bratt, Eva Longoria, Carlos Rivera, Miguel, Alanna Ubach, Alex Gonzalez, Jaime Camil, Lele Pons, Rudy Mancuso and Natalia Jimenez.
