Opening DATE Revealed for Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort
Do I have some exciting news to share today! The Disneyland Resort just revealed some sneak peeks of the much-anticipated and reimagined Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort along with its opening date!
Over the past several months, Disney Imagineers have been working hard to transform Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel into the Pixar Place Hotel. After much anticipation, we have some first looks at the Hotel’s lobby, guest rooms, and food offerings, along with what amenities Gusts can enjoy until the reimagined Hotel officially starts welcoming Guests!

The Pixar-Sized Fun Begins in the Lobby
Guests will first feel that magic of Pixar upon their first step into the Pixar Place Hotel Lobby!
Once the Lobby is complete and the Pixar Place Hotel is officially open, Guests will be greeted by the iconic Pixar Lamp balanced atop the star ball.

When Guests look up, they will see a mobile featuring some of their beloved Pixar characters. But this isn’t just any mobile. This one was designed to show Guests the beginning stages of a Pixar movie where the magic starts to come to life – just like Guests who are checking into the Hotel will start their magical vacation at the Disneyland Resort!

Reimagined Guest Rooms Featuring Pixar Characters
Disney Imagineers definitely understood the assignment when it came to bringing the rooms at the Pixar Place Hotel to life!
From pillows inspired by the Pixar Ball to lighting that looks like the Pixar Lamp, all the way to the headboards featuring concept art from popular Pixar films, including “The Incredibles,” “Toy Story 3,” and more, no details were left untouched!

A New Restaurant and a New Place to Grab Some Snacks
While the Pixar Place Hotel will not officially open until early next year, Guests can try out the all-new Great Maple restaurant next month!
Once open, Guests of the Great Maple are invited to feast upon a meal of “upscale comfort food” for breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring homemade dishes like Cajun Shrimp & Cheddar Biscuit Benedict, Soda Pop-Braised Baby Back Ribs, Charred Cauliflower Hummus, Maple Pecan-Crused Slamon, Market Fish, salads, and what I am sure will be my personal favorite, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Maple Bacon Doughnuts!

Great Maple will be located on the first floor and will also be accompanied by a new grab-and-go coffee shop called Sketch Pad Cafe. Sketch Pad Cafe will be the perfect location to grab a variety of pastries served alongside a great selection of coffee and teas.
In addition to all this tastiness in the Lobby, Guests will also be able to enjoy an all-new menu at a rooftop pool bar called Small Bytes, featuring salads, wraps, and cheese plates served alongside some tasty beverages!

Tons of Magic Now Available
While we await the official grand opening of Pixar Place Hotel, there are several amenities Guests can enjoy now, including a new “Finding Nemo” splash pad and pool.
Surrounded by loungers on the Hotel’s rooftop, the Pixel Pool is the perfect place to cool down after a day in the Parks.
There’s also a pop-jet splash pad called Nemo’s Cove and the highlight of the pool area – a 186 feet long waterslide called Crush’s Surfin’ Slide and inspired by one of the stars of “Finding Nemo,” Crash!

After taking a refreshing dip in the pool, Guests can gather the gang and enjoy relaxing next to “Incredibles” and “Inside Out”-inspired firepits surrounded by comfy couches!
There’s also the all-new gift shop, “STORE-E,” offering Guests the opportunity to purchase coveted Disneyland Resort Souvenirs.

If you’re looking to reach your wellness goals during your Disneyland Resort vacation, you can do it alongside some of your favorite Pixar characters in a newly refurbished and expanded fitness center that features a larger-than-life mural of Mike and Sullery from “Monsters University!”

The Official Grand Opening Date
Now, for the moment you have been waiting for – the opening date!
Guests will be able to start checking into the reimagined Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort starting January 30, 2024!
