The Cast of ‘Hocus Pocus’ Is Celebrating The Film’s 30th Anniversary in Salem
As hard as it may be to believe, it has been 30 years since Hocus Pocus debuted in theaters.
In the subsequent three decades, the campy tale of three witches who are inadvertently resurrected by a teenage boy and his sister on Halloween night has become an annual tradition for those getting ready for Halloween.

This year, to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary, members of the Hocus Pocus cast are gathering in Salem, Massachusetts for a costume party!
Halloween Costume Bash
On hand for the festivities will be Omri Katz (Max Dennison), Thora Birch (Dani Dennison), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), and Jason Marsden (Binx the cat).

On Friday, October 20, fans can attend a Halloween Costume Bash at Bit Bar. The 21-plus event will run from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are available for $250 dollars and guests will get a chance to interact with actors.

“And we’re dressing up,” Shaw said. “We’re going to be in costume with you.”
Meet and Greet on the Salem Commons
On Saturday, October 21, the actors will hold a meet and greet and sign autographs on the Salem Common. The event will take place from noon to 7 p.m. and will be open to all ages.

Hocus Pocus was filmed primarily in Salem, so this weekend’s festivities will be something of a homecoming for the actors.
Shaw, Birch, and Marsden announced the events in a Facebook video earlier this week.
