NEWS: Parking Prices Just Went Up in Disney World
It seems like almost everything is getting more expensive at Disney World. Food prices increase regularly, we now have to pay for previously complimentary services like skipping the lines, and event prices have gone up as well.
Today, we found out about a whole slew of Disney price increases that happened silently overnight. And, one of the things that just got more expensive is parking.
Disney World Parking Price Increase
Parking prices just increased for the theme parks at Disney World. Standard parking is now $30 per vehicle per day, which is up from the previous $25 per vehicle per day.
This does seem pretty expensive, but standard single day parking at both Universal Orlando and Sea World Orlando is also $30 per day.
Disney World preferred parking (which gives you access to a parking spot close to the theme park entrances) has remained at $45, $50, or $55 per day depending on the season. Oversized Vehicle Parking (Shuttle, Limo, Camper Trailer, RV, Bus or Tractor Trailer) remains at $35 per day.
These prices are for the one-time fee you pay each day to park at all of the 4 Disney World theme parks. Paying at one park will get you access to parking at any of the other theme parks without having to pay again.
If you are staying at a Disney World hotel, standard theme park parking (as well as parking at the hotel) is included with your stay. However, if you would rather park in preferred parking, you can pay the difference in cost between the included standard parking and preferred parking (which is currently between $15 to $25 per day).
Keep in mind that you do not have to drive to the parks if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel. Disney hotels all have free transportation to the parks.
Also, some surrounding hotels in the area also offer free transportation, so make sure to check with your hotel!

Another way to avoid paying for parking is by becoming an Annual Passholder. But, keep in mind that prices just went up for all of those passes as well.
