‘Frozen’ and ‘Winnie the Pooh’ Scenes are Coming to Storybook Land!
Disney Parks Blog just announced some exciting news for this much-beloved attraction in Disneyland Paris! Le Pays des Contes de Fées will feature two new scenes, “Frozen” and “Winnie the Pooh,” in honor of its 30-year anniversary!
Le Pays des Contes de Fées is a charming, 15-person boat ride that takes guests through the whimsical world of Disney’s Storybook Land.
You are immersed in beautiful miniature scenes from your favorite classic Disney movies. This attraction is perfect for Disney fans of all ages.
The Paris attraction is a reinvention of the classic Storybook Land Canal Boats from Disneyland in 1956.
However, this version is slightly different featuring miniature scale recreations of Night on the Bald Mountain from “Fantasia,” Belle’s Village from “Beauty and the Beast” and Rapunzel’s Tower from “Tangled.”
Frozen Comes to Life!
How exciting! “Frozen” will debut as part of the attraction in miniature form as one of the fairy tale scenes in Fantasyland.
Imagineers have partnered with Disneyland Paris Central Shops to create the majestic North Mountain and Elsa’s iconic Ice Palace.
Keep your eyes open for Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven who appear on the attraction!
Winnie the Pooh’s New Home!
Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Woods are also coming to Storybook Land.
Keith Rector, Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, shared:
There’s something magical about taking something full scale and displaying it in miniature, it’s something Walt himself was obsessed with.
I grew up near Disneyland in California and Storybook Land has always been my favorite attraction. When I joined the team in Paris, we started a conversation about how we can bring new stories to Le Pays des Contes de Fées. I wanted to introduce new characters to this realm of storybook classics.
