2 NEW Munchlings Treats Debut in Disney Springs
Disney loves a celebration, that’s for sure! They will celebrate everything from big anniversaries to small occasions.
Today, Disney released a new character in their Munchlings merchandise line — Heimlich from A Bug’s Life! These are plushes that are themed to Disney characters as different foods and treats.
In honor of the new release, there is a celebration happening over in Disney Springs and it includes some new desserts! So, come along with us to try them out.
New Heimlich Munchlings Treats
These limited-time Heimlich treats are available over at Amorette’s Patisserie. The first is the dessert that inspired the new plush, the Munchlings Chocolate Piñata created by Chef Amanda Lauder!
This is a chocolate piñata with candy corn crackle, white chocolate crisps, and candy corn for $28.
We thought this was a really pretty dessert when it comes to aesthetics! It will definitely look good on your Instagram story.
The star of the show here is the candy corn crackles, which Amorette’s partnered with The Ganachery to make.
This was absolutely delicious and our reporter who tried it doesn’t even like candy corn!
If you’re a fan of A Bug’s Life, Munchlings, or just want a fun and interactive chocolate treat, this is for you!
Next up, we have the Munchlings Black Forest Pastry for $10. This is a vanilla bean mousse and dark chocolate mousse with cherries on a chocolate sable cookie.
This dessert is also very pretty, however we wish something else would’ve been used to make Heimlich’s face.
It’s made of white chocolate that melts really fast, so you don’t get to see Heimlich for long.
The flavors in this were very tasty. Our reporter isn’t even a fan of cherry but enjoyed this, saying it tasted more like a cherry syrup than fresh cherries.
The vanilla mousse didn’t really have much flavor, but that’s okay because the dark chocolate mousse had a ton of flavor! It was very rich and had an earthiness to it, so it actually worked well with everything else in this dessert.
Go ahead and get these two treats while you can, because they’re only around for a limited time.
