Here’s a closer look at the ways that feasting aboard this spacecraft indulges all senses:
Taste
The chefs on the Halcyon scoured the furthest reaches of the galaxy for the best dishes to serve passengers. Highlights include everything from Bantha Beef and Tip Yip Chicken to the Seared Kashyyyk Whitefish from Chewbacca’s homeworld. From the moment you scan the menu it’s clear that what awaits is an intergalactic tour de force.
Here’s a look at the dinner menu for the first night of dining – we think you’ll agree that it dazzles!
- Spiral Dumplings in three varieties:
- Tip Yip Chicken – Sweet and sour breaded chicken.
- Bantha Beef – Braised Teriyaki Beef
- Flora Vegetables – Potato and Curry
- There are a variety of dipping sauces for the dumplings including:
- Kaadu Cream
- Melhanese Curry – Yogurt Dip
- Batuu Spice
- Barbecue Spice
- Flora Noddle Salad – Yellow Beats, Daikon, Onions Carrots and White Miso Vinaigrette.
- For Entree’s guests can choose from the following:
- Bantha Beef Tenderloin – Tamarind Glazed with Crushed Moon Rock Potatoes
- Stewed Shrimp – With Lemongrass, Lobster Cream and Coconut-Lime Foam
- Tip Yip Chicken – Meenkoro Bourbon-glazed With Red Peppers and Sesame Seeds
- Green Herbed Fluffy Rice – With a Puffed Rice Crisp
- Surabat Spiced Flora – Vegetables with Harissa Spice.
- Yogan-Spiced Caramel Whip- Yuza, Passionfruit, Candella Jelly
Sight
Dinner on the first night aboard the Galactic Starcruiser takes place at The Crown of Corellia Dining Room. Here guests will dine beneath three larger circular multi-layered chandeliers. Adding to the ambiance is a dazzling light display throughout the supper club.
You’ll be dazzled as the lights go full on concert mode as Gaya, the galactic superstar from Ryloth performs her biggest hits.
For night two, the lighting shifts to evoke the aesthetics of each course on the “Taste Around the Galaxy” menu.
Sound
Let’s go back to Gaya for just a minute! The Twi’lek singer elegantly works the room and her powerful voice fills every nook and cranny. Listen carefully and you may even learn a thing or two about the galaxy and why Gaya is on the ship to begin with.
Smell
With a rich and varied menu, guests can expect every meal to be brimming with its own tantalizing aromas. Guests can expect a mouth-watering experience from the very first bite!
Touch
In addition to the main dining room, those onboard the Galactic Starcruiser will also have an opportunity to enjoy an evening tipple at the Sublight Lounge. Here, you’ll find three creative cocktail options like the Hoth Ice Breaker pictured above. These drinks feature exotic flavors, photo-worthy looks , incredible glassware and a very interesting feeling as your raise this intergalactic cocktail to your lips!
