Colorful New Disney100 Mural Debuts at EPCOT
If youv’e been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that we’re at EPCOT where Disney100 Anniversary festivities have officially kicked off. One of the highlights of the new Disney100 decor you’ll find at the parks is a colorful mural that showcases some of EPCOT’s most beloved highlights.
You’ll come across the mural on Rose Walk near the World Showcase.
As you can see from the sign above, this wonderful piece of Disney artwork was created especially of the Disney100 celebration.
In celebration of a century of Disney magic-making, the mural features 100 of the most beloved characters from Disney’s stories.
Think of the mural as almost a “Where’s Waldo?” for Disney fans!
There’s a list of characters to be on the lookout for. See how many you can find during your visit!
SPOILER ALERT: We’ll show you a few of the friends we found during our look at the EPCOT Disney100 mural. In the picture above we spotted Mulan, Miguel, Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, Baloo and Mowgli!
Looking back at the Norway Pavilion, you’ll also find Anna, Olaf and Elsa!
Making our way around the World Showcase can you see Pocahontas, Princess Tiana, Duffy, LinaBell and Pinocchio.
If you look up in the sky over the Morocco Pavilion you’ll notice Aladdin and Jasmine enjoying a Magic Carpet ride. Look closely and you may also notice Hercules and Megara.
Ariel is hanging out along the water’s edge. Beauty and the Beast share a quiet moment, Aurora looks in a hurray and Peter Pan flies over the UK Pavilion. Also, can you find Cruella DeVil and Mei from “Turning Red?”
Taking a closer look at the United Kingdom section of the World Showcase you’ll also notice Alice, Pooh and Mary Poppins!
The character search continues when you leave the World Showcase. We see Mickey and Minnie near the Imagination Pavilion!
Wreck-It-Ralph and Penelope are also hanging out as is our good friend Orange Bird as well as Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Jack-Jack.
It seems only fitting that we would find Wall-E, EVE, and Buzz Lightyear at Mission: SPACE. But, can you also find Stitch, and Spike the Bee!?
Lightnin McQueen looks ready to have some Test, Track fun. Oswald and Ortensia also seem to be happy to be at the park!
If you look closely in the courtyard you may also see Kronk as well as a tribute to one of the lost EPCOT attractions – Kitchen Kabaret.
Over at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind you may notice Merlin along with Huey, Dewey, and Louie!
It’s only fitting that Moana would be holding court with her pig Pua.
We’ve also spotted a couple of Muppets! It’s Bunson and Honeydew!
Animal is also on the scene, as is Pluto and Lady and the Tramp. Baymax and Hero can also be spotted flying above the World Showcase. And who can find the slightly camouflaged Elliot!?
We love delving into all of the little details of this mural. Can you see Figment and the Dreamfinder above?
With 100 characters featured in the Disney100 Epcot mural, we are sure there are some that we didn’t notice.
