Walt Disney World Wait Times for Last Week of April 2023
This past week, Disney and Florida’s government may have fought, but audiences didn’t seem to care.
People still flocked to Walt Disney World, seemingly obvious or uncaring about all the nonsense.

Still, we’d expected smaller crowds at the end of April than toward the start. Did that happen? Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for the past week.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

We can always tell about the entirety of Animal Kingdom by one attraction.
When Avatar Flight of Passage requires a longer wait, the other attractions do as well. It’s reflective of the fact that more people are at the park.

Last week, guests waited for an average of 84 minutes, which was the same as last week.
Ooookay. That didn’t help us any. How about Na’vi River Journey?

The other attraction at Pandora: The World of Avatar averaged 69 minutes, which was two minutes less than last time.
So, we appear to be trending about the same as last week. Was that the case with the other attractions? Let’s check.

Overall, guests waited for an average of 38 minutes per Animal Kingdom attraction. That’s one minute less than last time…so, yeah. It was about the same.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
How was Hollywood Studios this past week? Well, we noticed small crowds on April 22nd and 23rd, but they didn’t really show up in the data.
Then, this past Saturday and Sunday, crowds seemed larger. In fact, Slinky Dog Dash required an 89-minute wait. That’s four minutes less than last week.

More importantly, this means Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance didn’t have the longest lines.
Guests waited for 80 minutes per ride, which is down four minutes from last time.

How was the rest of the park? Here are the average waits at Hollywood Studios this past week:
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 66 minutes, up 6
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – 59 minutes, up 1

However, I’ll note that only three attractions required a wait of an hour or more. Even if we include the next two rides, Smugglers Run and Runaway Railway, it’s still just five. That’s not bad for Hollywood Studios.
