Disney Skyliner Welcomes the Family Madrigal to the Fleet
The Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month festivities began yesterday at Walt Disney World with delicious new treats and exciting PhotoPass opportunities.
In honor of the celebration, Mirabel also started greeting guests at her new location at Magic Kingdom, and we now talk about Bruno as a member of the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
Today, the Disney Skyliner debuted its first “Encanto”-themed car too. Check out the members of the Family Madrigal who made the colorful design.
The Sisters Madrigal Strike a Powerful Pose
In honor of their strong sisterhood, the ever-powerful Luisa, the “perfect” Isabela, and the compassionate Mirabel feature on one side of the car.
Given his gift during the hit 2021 film, “Encanto,” the youngest Madrigal, Antonio, shares his uniqueness on one of the car’s horizontal designs. Surrounded by rainforest creatures, Antonio celebrates his ability to speak to animals in the artwork.
Of course, the other horizontal design features the film’s breakout star: the family’s elusive cousin and uncle Bruno. With his characteristic laid-back look, Bruno holds one of the rats who nested with him inbetween the walls of the Madrigal’s home.
The “Encanto”-themed vehicle is Disney Skyliner bucket number 243. Its goldenrod yellow shade makes it stand out even before noticing the engaging artwork.
Make sure to keep an eye to the sky to check out all of the clever details included in the design, including Isabela showering one side of the Skyliner bucket with her signature blooms.
Finding the Madrigal Family
For those looking for other ways to interact with the “Encanto” crew, head over to Magic Kingdom. Bruno now waves to guests from atop a float in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade. The mini-parade tends to run in the late afternoons.
Guests can also immerse themselves in the memories of the Family Madrigal by meeting Mirabel herself. To find Mirabel, head toward the Mad Tea Party attraction from the hub, and Mirabel’s greeting area will be to the left just before Fantasyland in the space where Merida once greeted guests.
Make sure to check back throughout the month for more on the unique additions to Walt Disney World and beyond in honor of this special month.
