FIRST LOOK: Pink Tres Leches Cake at Creature Comforts For Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month
Today is the first day of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month and Disney is celebrating by unveiling an incredible array of new eats and treats available at the theme parks and resorts through October 15, 2023.
We popped over to Creature Comforts, which is the Starbucks location on Discovery Island, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, to sample one of the new goodies- The Pink Tres Leches Cake.
The base of the Pink Tres Leches Cake is a vanilla cake soaked in three milks.
For those unfamiliar, three milks is a combination of sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.
The Pink Tres Leches Cake is then topped with cinnamon whipped cream.
Sugar flowers add the finishing touches!
The Pink Tres Leches Cake pairs perfectly with the Starbucks coffee available at this location.
You can get this colorful treat at Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom.
So what did our MickeyBlogger think of the new Pink Tres Leches Cake? Unfortunately, she wasn’t a huge fan.
She said that the flavor and smell of the Pink Tres Leches Cake were delightful.
However, she describes this cake as way too soggy. She said the texture was wet and the texture meant that it wasn’t the most enjoyable treat.
