The Seas is Missing Some Vital Elements at EPCOT
Climb aboard explorers and hold on tight… it looks like we’ve got a mystery to solve!
While enjoying a surf through World Nature in EPCOT this morning, our MickeyBloggers noticed something was amiss over at the ever-popular attraction pavilion, The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
Something is Missing
Normally, this area is like a bustling coral reef – you can smell the water, see guests milling around like colorful fish in an EPCOT ocean, and feel the excitement of the sea in the air. Best of all, you can also usually hear the sounds of crashing waves and selfish seagulls atop the rocks, too.
So, why is it so quiet here this morning?
Well, as much as we hate to say it, The Seas is missing quite a lot of its regular charm this morning.
‼️Alert!‼️
The seagulls are missing from “The Seas” Pavilion!👀👀👀
Where did they go?!? pic.twitter.com/nIKafsHcXu

The water surrounding the attraction’s feature area has been switched off, leaving the rocks dry and the sound of waves missing from the air. Furthermore, those iconic “Mine! Mine! Mine!” seagulls are gone. Oh no!
Maybe the gulls have flown south for the winter, and taken the pavilion’s entire water supply with them? It’s more likely that they have been removed for refurbishment, but you never can tell.
Unfortunately, we can’t say for sure what is happening with this area, nor when it will go back to its usual seaside self.
However, we will continue to monitor the situation, and hopefully, our favorite World Nature photo spot will return to normal very soon. As always, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com for all the best news, updates, and more!
