Artwork Added To New Mirabel Meet and Greet Location at Magic Kingdom
We are only two days away from the official opening of the Mirabel meet and greet at Fairytale Garden in the Magic Kingdom. Guests will soon be able to meet the protagonist from the beloved Disney film Encanto in the location that was formerly home to the Merida meet and greet from Brave. Mirabel will officially start meeting guests at her new home on September 15, 2023.
For those unfamiliar, Princess Fairytale Garden is located in Fantasyland between Cinderella Castle and the Mad Tea Party.
Over the past few weeks, Disney has been hard at work transforming the garden from Merida’s Highland Castle to the Casa Madrigal from Encanto.
The meet and greet location, which still sits behind construction walls has been updated with cascading flowers.
Also, over the last few days, vibrant artwork, reminiscent of the bold colors found in the film now adorn the stone walls.
In the image above, you can get a look at an orange banner featuring a photo of Mirabel.
Another wall features a full-color image of the Madrigal family tree housed in a bright pink frame.
We can’t wait to see more of the incredible updates being made to Princess Fairytale Gardens when Mirabel arrives on the scene on Friday.
Mirabel will be meeting guests throughout most of the day at Fairytale Garden in the Magic Kingdom. She will take 20-minute breaks throughout the day but guests can still wait in line during that time.

You’ll definitely want to have your cameras at the ready to capture the magical moment that you meet Mirabel Madrigal. A PhotoPass photographer will also likely be on the scene for those with MemoryMaker packages.
For those unfamiliar, the Merida meet and greet has now been moved to the gazebo in Liberty Square.
