Floral Garlands Have Been Added To New Mirabel Meet and Greet Location at Magic Kingdom
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you may have seen the news that Scottish Princess Merida is no longer meeting guests at Fairytale Garden at the Magic Kingdom. She recently moved to the Gazebo in Liberty Square and her original location is being repurposed for Mirabel from the recent beloved Disney film Encanto.
Our MickeyBlogger Zach passed by the location today. For those unfamiliar, Fairytale Garden is between Cinderella Castle and the Mad Tea Party in Magic Kingdom.
As you can see, the area is still behind construction walls but we can see that some beautiful details have been added as the area is transformed to look like the Casa Madrigal from Encanto.
Sprays of beautiful blooms now adorn the archways in the area. The film Encanto was set in Colombia and the stunning flora and fauna served as a whimsical backdrop.
It’s nice to see this theming being incorporated into the repurposed Fairytale Gardens meet-and-greet location.
We expect to see more exciting changes coming to the area in the days ahead. Mirabel’s Character Encounter at Fairytale Garden is expected to open on September 15, 2023.
Mirabel Madrigal will be on hand to pose for photos, meet guests, sign autographs, and talk about her Uncle Bruno!
