Brightline High-Speed Rail Service Between Miami and Orlando Starting Next Week!
We’ve got some exciting news regarding Brightline’s high-speed rail service between Orlando and Miami! The company announced today that the new route, designed to connect South and Central Florida, will officially launch on September 22, 2023.
For a limited time, to celebrate the launch of the new service, Brightline will be offering a one-way SMART ticket for as little as $79 per adult and $39 for kids. In addition, groups of 4 or more will get an additional 25% discount on SMART fairs. The trains offer business-class comfort with amenities that include Starling WiFi, accessible power and USB outlets, and food and beverage options (for an additional purchase.) A PREMIUM service is also available for business travelers.
The route will take passengers to a brand-new station at Orlando International Airport. MCO took to Facebook to share the news as well as some photos of the new station. You can check that out below:
“Opening Orlando fulfills our ultimate business model. We have seen incredible enthusiasm from the business and tourism industries eager to travel between Central and South Florida,” shared Patrick Goddard, president of Brightline. “As we start service to Orlando for peak holiday seasons, I encourage everyone to check calendars, make plans, visit our website or app, and reserve a seat now.”
