New Zootopia-Themed Show Coming to Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom
We’ve got some exciting news for fans of Zootopia. During this morning’s Destination D23 presentation, Disney announced that a new Zootopia-themed show is coming to the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Though details for this project remain scarce, it does look as if the project will replace “It’s tough to be a bug” and not a projection show on the Tree of Life’s exterior.
You can check out the concept art below as shared on Twitter.
During the presentation, Disney said that the new Tree of Life Zootopia show is still being developed but that the current concept is filled with humor and action. The show will take guests into the different biomes you see in the film and some that you’ve yet to see. Judy Hopps will of course play a role in the new show as will Nick Wilde.
Apparently, there will even be an animatronic Officer Clawhauser!
Though it’s early days for the project, we couldn’t be more excited. Disney also teased that this may not be the only Zootopia-themed offerings we see at Disney’s Animal Kingdom so watch this space!
