First Look: Details Revealed for Shanghai Disney Resort’s New Zootopia

Wow! Good morning Disney fans! We are waking up to some awesome new and announcements today.

Here is some news we know you have all been eagerly waiting for— Disney Parks Blog just shared a first look of all that’s coming soon to Zootopia.

Opening this year, we now have exclusive details on all the new experiences coming to the land from Zootopia.

Everything from Hot Pursuit, a brand-new attraction, new entertainment, merchandise and exclusive food and beverage experiences. Read on!

New Attraction: Hot Pursuit

Get ready to become a rookie police officer at the Zootopia Police Department (ZPD)!   Zootopia residents are getting ready for a big concert celebrating Zootopia Day featuring Gazelle and you are part of the fun. 

Look at who you will meet! You are greeted by Officer Clawhauser for your orientation when an alarm sounds and you are whisked away to an emergency briefing delivered by Chief Bogo!

Uh oh! Gazelle has been kidnapped — on the day of the concert and you have to help find her.

You’ll be assigned to back up Officer Judy Hopps and her partner, Nick Wilde, in a fun and past-paced police chase.

You will see of all your favorite Zootopia’s iconic hot spots including  the ice of Tundra Town,  the streets of Sahara Square, Mystic Springs Oasis, and the Rainforest District!

Meet and Greet with Zootopia Faves

Get ready for some new and unique entertainment experiences.

Catch a glimpse of many of your favorite characters, including Fru Fru and her father Mr. Big, along with Koslov the polar bear, Flash the sloth, Yax the yak, Duke Weaselton the weasel, and even the Hopps family throughout the day!

And snap the perfect selfie with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde at the Zootopia Recruitment Station. So much fun!

Eats, Treats, and Shopping!

There is plenty of delicious Zootopified food and beverage offerings available at Jumbeaux’s Cafe. This a sweet  ice cream shop fans will love!

There are so many delicious treats to enjoy including this tart paw-shaped Disney Zootopia popsicle, a Chocolate Marshmallow to fuel your park adventures, or try Officer Clawhauser’s favorite donuts!
